BETH MEYER-FRANK, RNP, JD. 

Beth Meyer-Frank is a dedicated advocate for the empowerment of women. She recognizes the struggles that women undergo in their quest for physical and mental health, and how their health effects their opportunities, financial security, living situations, and their various roles within the family and society.

Beth has over 25 years of experience providing high quality healthcare to women in a variety of settings. These settings include community health clinics, women’s health settings, addiction treatment centers, and psychiatric and medical weight loss practices. Beth is an accomplished trainer for professionals, staff, and patients on issues relating to health maintenance, disease processes, and health care delivery, where education is crucial for understanding, treatment and growth.

Beth is a national and international speaker.

FAMILY PLANNING and WOMEN’S HEALTH

-Beth is an OB/GYN nurse practitioner with experience providing exceptional health care to women from adolescence through menopause and beyond. She is recognized as a compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, and experienced clinician.

-Beth has expertise in assessing and providing family planning services. She served as an auditor of and consultant to family planning clinics and agencies in California and Arizona. This position insured that the services offered resulted in women obtaining complete access to exemplary family planning care.

ADDICTION and PSYCHIATRY

-As a nurse practitioner, Beth performs assessments and gives care to women in both outpatient and residential substance abuse treatment programs. This care encompasses treatment that includes detoxing from substances, assistance through the initial recovery period, and throughout outpatient recovery treatment. It is notable that she has providing family planning services to women in addiction programs, such as clean needle exchange, residential, and outpatient programs.

-As a nurse practitioner, Beth provides psychiatric care and management to women in a private practice setting along with the assessment and treatment of co-occurring psychiatric disorders in substance abuse treatment settings.

-Beth works in a medical weight loss setting addressing issues of obesity that frequently have an addictive component to them.
